Meet Ian Robinson. A Norfolk craftsman with over four decades of experience and a lifelong love of working with wood.
Made with a personal touch.
Ian’s interest in woodwork began at school, with a bedside table. That early project became a career spent turning ideas into carefully made, useful and lasting pieces.
Today, his work spans bespoke cabinetry, handcrafted kitchens, fitted wardrobes, Victorian-style greenhouses, conservatories, windows and doors. He enjoys seeing a project all the way through: designing, making, finishing and fitting.
His career includes work for Bill Cleyndert and Erick Bates, where he worked with Matthew Wheeler. Their shared attention to detail has led to a lasting friendship and collaboration on individual projects.
Whether a piece needs to sit naturally alongside an old feature or stand on its own, Ian brings the same care to its proportions, finish and fit.
